This is my ode to Gangsta Rap, particularly the pioneers of Gangsta Rap N.W.A. or Niggaz With Attitude!
These Black Men were exciting, defiant, strong, and seen as protectors of our culture, ghetto heroes by us even while having our own battles with the often misogynistic lyrics.
Wild ain't it? So I got the idea to reach out to the homegirl Chloe Dukes and enlist her to help me flip the 100 Miles and Runnin' EP cover from 1990 to feature Black Women as N.W.A. since sometimes that's how we're treated and sometimes this is who we have to be. It's been 100 miles ... and we're still runnin'.
Design is available in a Hoodie & Tee, both designs feature logo on sleeve & "...and we're still running." across the back.
